Overview
Our client is looking for an SC-cleared Engineer to fill the role of a Power Platform Developer focused on Dynamics Finance & Operations and Commerce.
Key Experience and Responsibilities
- Environment Provisioning Expertise – Experience provisioning sandbox, demo, and production environments using Lifecycle Services (LCS), including configuration of Common Data Service (Dataverse) and SQL database settings.
- Deployment Lifecycle Management – Skilled in managing the full deployment lifecycle: planning, configuring, validating, and executing deployments across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Version & Update Control – Ability to apply and manage application updates, including binary package handling and update validation.
- Environment Strategy Design – Capable of designing environment strategies ta, including multi-region rollouts, pilot environments, and parallel system operations.
- Security & Access Configuration – Proficient in configuring environment-level security, user roles, and access controls to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Integration Readiness – Ensures environments are properly configured for integrations (e.g., Dual Write, Power Platform, external systems), including endpoint setup and data flow validation.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Experience using LCS monitoring tools and telemetry to identify and resolve provisioning or deployment issues efficiently.
- Documentation & Governance – Maintains detailed documentation of environment configurations, deployment steps, and rollback procedures to support governance and audit requirements.
