Rate – £Market rates p/d via Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the overall Pega solution architecture for the Collections program, covering early, mid, late, and legal collections journeys.
  • Lead the design of Pega application structure, including framework and implementation layering, class hierarchy, and reuse strategy.
  • Architect and govern the use of Pega Collections and Customer Service case types, ensuring correct extension of out‑of‑the‑box capabilities.
  • Define the approach for integrating Pega Customer Decision Hub to enable Next‑Best‑Action and Next‑Best‑Payment strategies.
  • Ensure collections decisioning, workflows, and customer treatments meet regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements across geographies.
  • Provide architectural oversight for integrations with core banking systems, payment gateways, CRM systems, and external agencies.
  • Define non‑functional architecture covering performance, scalability, availability, resilience, and security.
  • Establish DevOps, branching, deployment, and release management standards for large multi‑team delivery.
  • Review designs and code produced by CSSAs and SSAs to ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and program standards.
  • Act as the primary technical authority and escalation point for all Pega‑related decisions within the program.
