Job Overview
Our client is hiring QA Analysts for a 12‑month initial contract.
The role is hybrid, based at one of the following sites: Newcastle, London, Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool or Sheffield.
This position is Inside IR35 and requires active security clearance (SC). Candidates who have and/or have held high‑level security clearance are especially welcome.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Experience testing modern web applications built with HTML, CSS, Java Script, and Node. js ecosystems.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Strong experience in unit testing, TDD, and BDD practices (Gherkin style).
- Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build processes.
- Strong understanding of testing lifecycle including test design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and applying shift‑left testing principles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience identifying risks and applying context‑driven testing approaches.
- Demonstrable experience with modern programming or scripting languages.
- Security Clearance
