Soap WebServices Application Developer
Contract – 12 months, IR35 compliant. Remote work expected for majority of the role. Client sites are Manchester and Newcastle, UK. 5 years UK residency required.
Primary Skills & Experience (Must-Have)
- Hands‑on SOAP Web Services – JAX‑WS, WSDL/XSD first, strong XML fundamentals.
- WS‑import / wsdl2java, service contracts, SOAP headers, faults, MTOM (binary attachments) and handler chains.
- WS‑Security (UsernameToken, Timestamp, Signature/Encryption), WS‑Addressing and WS‑Policy.
- Core Java OOP – encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces.
