Our client is a Nuclear Sector customer who requires an experienced PMO Analyst to support their central Programme Delivery function, spread across multiple portfolios. The role is outside IR35 and based 2 days per week on-site in London. The PMO Analyst will work with Portfolio Managers to support Project Managers and other members of the I&T team to navigate internal I&T governance processes and deliver wider Project Group needs.
The role requires management of stakeholders and the Stage Gate review process, ensuring the readiness of ideas, opportunities, projects and programmes to move through the governance process to handover to Service. The analyst will champion the PMO strategy, align to project delivery methodology and act as an SME to the I&T team.
Scope and Deliverables
- Validate data quality and assist in the production of dashboards to aid planning and control.
- Facilitate project RAIDDA reviews and support escalations to the PMO Manager and Head of Programmes and Projects where necessary.
- Track and govern the Project Stage Gate process; facilitate reviews, quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the required artefacts are in place.
- Monthly reporting to Group Projects organisation and administration of any re-approvals with the support of the PM/Project Owner.
- Support delivery with adherence to I&T and wider Group Project reporting requirements.
- Understand and follow I&T PMO governance requirements to support project/programme manager(s).
- Support the Project Team members with financial and reporting requirements, application of approved funding, change control and adherence to process around the use of contingency and uplift of funding.
- Responsible for regular process reviews and delivery of comms and training to the wider Plan/Change community.
- Engage with stakeholders, internal and 3rd parties, to support and guide on processes, procedures, compliance and assurance.
