The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We have a great opportunity with a world‑leading organisation where you will be supported and developed to succeed. This 6‑month contract will be based remotely (occasional travel to London max 1 day per month) and will pay market rates per day via Umbrella.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate as a hands‑on member of the interaction design profession with an Agile sprint team to deliver design thought leadership.
- Produce screens and clickable prototypes, using established design patterns, to test and iterate concepts while considering usability and accessibility requirements.
- Communicate and advocate design decisions throughout the design cycle from concepts to delivery, ensuring high standards of work.
- Document learnings and contribute to shaping consistent design delivery.
- Make important decisions based on research and understand how this research impacts the service.
- Finalise screen flows and screens for delivery that align with acceptance criteria.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience delivering past services utilising GDS Service Standard and GOV.UK Design System.
- Proficient with Sketch for high‑fidelity wireframes, Visio for screen flows, and GDS prototype kit for clickable prototypes.
- Strong understanding of user research, iterative design process, and accessibility practices.
Security Clearance
Candidates who have held or hold high‑level security clearance are most welcome to apply. Successful applicants will be required to be security clear prior to appointment and this can take up to a minimum of 10 weeks.
