- Day Rate: £350/Day (Outside IR35).
- Duration: 6 months.
- Location & Travel: London / Manchester / Portsmouth / Glasgow (weekly 3 days at office).
Job Description
Main purpose of role: Responsible for designing, developing and implementing high‑quality Salesforce solutions that align with strategic objectives and the long‑term platform vision. Acts as a senior technical contributor, providing depth of expertise, strong delivery capability and pragmatic problem‑solving across the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations and other Salesforce ecosystem technologies, in line with agreed architectural standards.
- Deliver business change on the Salesforce platform in alignment with agreed priorities, roadmap and delivery plans.
- Produce clear and accurate technical documentation, including design notes, configuration details and deployment considerations.
- Support and mentor less experienced developers through pairing, knowledge sharing and informal guidance, without formal line‑management responsibility.
- Ensure Salesforce support activity is delivered within agreed SLAs, taking ownership of complex or high‑impact incidents when required.
- Contribute to the impact analysis of Salesforce seasonal releases (Spring, Summer, Winter), identifying potential impacts and supporting adoption of relevant new features.
Skill Detail:
- Problem solving: Diagnose and resolve complex Salesforce issues related to performance, scalability, data integrity and user experience. Monitor solution effectiveness and adoption, identifying improvement opportunities. Take ownership of difficult technical problems through to resolution.
- Decision making: Apply Salesforce best practices and established standards when making technical decisions. Effectively prioritise workload and manage competing demands. Identify risks early and raise them appropriately to the Lead Salesforce Developer or delivery team.
- Innovation: Stay current with Salesforce releases and ecosystem enhancements. Propose practical improvements using automation, declarative features and modern development patterns.
