Key Responsibilities
- Design of enterprise data architecture aligned to Data Mesh and Data Fabric patterns, defining domain oriented data products with clear ownership and contracts.
- Development and maintenance of Canonical Data Models (CDM) and domain-specific data models to ensure consistency and interoperability across the GCP platform.
- Definition and enforcement of architecture standards, principles and guidelines across the GCP platform and stakeholder organizations.
- Collaboration with data engineers and platform teams to ensure architecture patterns are implementable, scalable and aligned to GCP-native tooling.

- Knowledge of development and maintenance of Canonical Data Models (CDM) and domain-specific data models
- Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI
- Definition and governance of scientific ontologies and controlled vocabularies

- Design and implementation of data governance frameworks covering classification, data quality, lineage, retention and GxP / regulatory compliance.
