6 Month contract initially + Extensions

Based: Onsite in London

Rate: £450 - £550 p/d (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of enterprise data architecture aligned to Data Mesh and Data Fabric patterns, defining domain oriented data products with clear ownership and contracts.
  • Development and maintenance of Canonical Data Models (CDM) and domain-specific data models to ensure consistency and interoperability across the GCP platform.
  • Definition and enforcement of architecture standards, principles and guidelines across the GCP platform and stakeholder organizations.
  • Collaboration with data engineers and platform teams to ensure architecture patterns are implementable, scalable and aligned to GCP-native tooling.

  • Knowledge of GenAI, LLM, Agentic AI
  • Definition and governance of scientific ontologies and controlled vocabularies

  • Design and implementation of data governance frameworks covering classification, data quality, lineage, retention and GxP / regulatory compliance.
