Scope and Objectives
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical teams and government partners.
- Ensure a good understanding of customer success criteria for each project - be dynamic, adaptable and creative when customer priorities and/or success criteria change.
- Ensure the Project Management framework is followed, adhering to the Gateway Review Process.
- Lead preparation for and attend Technology and Operations service assessments and internal governance boards.
- Preparing the project plans and costings, project initiation documents or equivalent and business case among other documents for Senior Product Manager review.
- Manage project budgets, including risk allowance.
- Adhering to formal reporting and governance arrangements on projects progress both internally and to the customer.
- Following the defined criteria for control and management of the projects.
- Communicate project status, risks and strategic implications clearly and confidently.
- Champion user needs, accessibility and service design principles throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Capabilities
- Leadership: Effectively lead leveraged resources on project work, giving them a sense of purpose and guiding them towards a shared objective. The ability to inspire, motivate and correct project direction (if required).
- Exceptional Communication: Deal with diverse teams and stakeholders daily. Articulating expectations, feedback or change effectively and clearly.
- Identifying potential threats to the execution of the project plans, creating contingency plans using experience to foresee issues, taking preventive measures and develop solutions swiftly.
