Role Description
- Govern supplier delivered data and application migration activities, ensuring quality, completeness, and alignment with programme timelines.
- Identify gaps, missing systems/data, undocumented data flows, and other unknowns across the migration landscape, and translate these into work packages for delivery.
- Lead discovery and analysis to define previously un-scoped migration work.
- Produce scope definitions and work with commercial teams to raise and negotiate delivery with suppliers.
- Review and challenge supplier plans, RAID items, deliverables, and assumptions.
- Escalate risks around data migrations around dependencies, cutover readiness & drive mitigation actions with suppliers and internal teams.
- Maintain clear reporting, stakeholder updates, and supporting documentation.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills - able to challenge suppliers constructively.
- Experience with delivering data/application migration or hosting/platform transition projects.
- Proven ability to govern supplier delivery.
- Great analytical skills and ability to challenge and uncover missing dependencies and spotting gaps.
- Experience producing scopes of work and negotiating CRs.
- Solid project management fundamentals (planning, RAID, reporting).
- Confident communicator.
