We have an urgent opportunity for a Cloud Operations Engineer (Azure) for our client based in Bristol. The role will be hybrid working with 3 days a week onsite and 2 days working from home.
Summary of Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, build, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services to meet the client's needs for scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement and manage security measures, access controls, and compliance regulations to protect cloud resources.
- Monitor resource usage to ensure high performance and availability while optimizing costs by avoiding over-provisioning and implementing efficient services.
- Assist in migrating existing infrastructure to Azure if required and automating deployments and management tasks.
- Must have Azure certifications at a minimum Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) but I would prefer Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Three years experience (as a minimum, in a directly relevant role, wider background expected).
- Experience of working with IoT preferably with a manufacturing/R&D background.
- Must be an excellent team player and prepared to train and upskill the rest of the team.
