Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Operations
Architect and manage cloud environments (AWS or equivalent) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of platforms.
Essential Skills (Must Have)
- Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Terraform or equivalent and automated provisioning.
- Cloud Platforms: Strong experience with AWS services or equivalent and governance.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
- CI/CD Expertise: Advanced knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Security Practices: Deep understanding of secure DevOps principles and cloud security.
- Problem-Solving & Reliability Engineering: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and design resilient systems.
Experience Profile
- Significant experience in DevOps roles with proven delivery of cloud-native solutions.
- Hands‑on leadership in designing and operating secure, scalable platforms.
- Track record of mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Experience in hybrid UK-based delivery environments.
Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)
- Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Networking & Performance Tuning: Knowledge of cloud networking and optimization.
- Agile Delivery: Experience in agile, product‑led environments.
- Observability Tools: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
