Role Overview: DV Cleared Network Engineer. Initially until the end of March 2028, with extensions, Inside or IR35, 2-3 days per week on site in the South West, with work from home. This role is based on a network engineer with proven experience, operating at CCNP level or above. Current certification is not a requirement, but ability must be demonstrable.
The role delivers design refinement, implementation and test of network configurations with a focus on production of secure, repeatable solutions concurrent with producing supporting engineering documentation for all configuration elements.
Key Responsibilities:- Skills in Network Monitoring and Traffic Analysis to maintain performance, security, and service reliability.
- Strong experience with Hardware and Software Configuration, supporting efficient deployment and lifecycle management.
- Competencies in producing Technical Documentation and knowledge sharing to enhance team knowledge and capability.
- Able to support Strategic Network Infrastructure Planning to drive long term improvement and resilience.
- Effective in Stakeholder Engagement and Communication, fostering trusted relationships across technical and non-technical groups.
- Proven experience in exploiting ESXi 8.0.3.
- Proven experience in exploiting vSphere 8.0.3.
