Project Engineering Support
Location: Birmingham
Until: 11/01/2027
Initially supporting the Technical Delivery Specialist and reporting into the Engineering Enablement manager managing all site call offs to SLAs and KPIs including resolving all shortages, asset swaps as well as supporting the wider team in managing assets in the process reviews and creation of new processes.
The Technical Delivery Specialist drives the delivery of excellence in customer service through the tactical delivery of issue resolution in parallel with a focus on activities and programmes that enhance customer-facing engineering capabilities.
What you'll be doing?
- Responsible for supporting the site call off process (shortages, Asset Swaps, DOAs) within agreed SLAs and KPIs from beginning-to-end pulling in subject matter experts when needed to support sites.
- Support along with others the creation of new processes and the updating of existing processes to bring them up to date.
- Supplier management - constantly working with 3PL to ensure that assets are managed and delivered to exacting standards.
- Support the Network Delivery team on other workstreams and projects as and when required.
- Weekly / Monthly requirement of reporting of all call offs received to capture Right first time call offs and share with senior management team and the wider network logistics team as required.
- Support the Outbound and Reverse Supply Chain Manager where required helping bespoke activities as needed.
- Working with asset Management provider (Tracktrans) and the Outbound and Returns to drive long term sustainable business performance improvement, by identifying, designing and implementing opportunities to improve.
- Manage the resolution of critical customer escalations contributing to high standards of customer delivery.
- Ensure fulfillment of delivery requirements of operational targets within the team to promote strong working relationships with other teams in the mobile deployment area.
- Expected to meet the 3T2W (three together two wherever) requirements to be in the assigned office minimum 3 days per week.
