This position requires a technically capable individual with strong troubleshooting capability, team leadership skills and experience supporting enterprise infrastructure technologies within secure environments. Flexibility to support shift work may be required. Legacy infrastructure training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd line support across secure technical environments.
- Support a high profile user community through the incident logging application.
- Handle and resolve technical escalations from support teams.
- Provide leadership and support to other engineers within the team.
- Coach and mentor team members on technical issues and operational processes.
- Support implementation activities and operational changes where required.
Technical Skills and Experience
- VMware and virtual infrastructure technologies.
- Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2019/2022.
- Experience with MCM, SCOM and Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, GPO and User Account Management.
- Experience supporting DFS and Windows log analysis.
- Exposure to network technologies such as Juniper and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of legacy technologies including Windows 7/10 and Server 2008/2012.
