A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. Our client, a global leading organisation, works in the AFC (Anti‑Financial Crime) area. This role is instrumental in deciding the scope of the work for 2026 from the customer point of view, as the candidate currently working holds full control of the QA space of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- QA Automation Engineer and automation delivery for Anti‑Financial Crime and Data platforms.
- Design and maintain hybrid automation frameworks for API (Karate DSL, Rest Assured), UI (Selenium, Playwright), and regression testing.
- Validate multi‑source data flows across 10+ upstream systems (party, transaction, account data) integrated with AFC Search (BigQuery/GCP) and Videris (OSINT investigations).
- Manage UAT engagement with case management teams (L1/L2), preparing packs, training users, and ensuring smooth sign‑offs.
- Run daily defect triage and war rooms, driving RCA and production readiness.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket with reusable regression packs.
- Deliver testing for AML/KYC, screening, transaction monitoring, GDPR, and MiFID‑related change programmes.
- Mentor teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Ideally 10+ years of QA experience, with 5+ years in QA Automation Lead or equivalent role.
- Strong expertise in Playwright, Selenium (Java), Karate DSL, Tosca, Postman.
- Hands‑on SQL expertise for complex joins, reconciliation, and ETL validation.
- Experience managing multi‑country delivery teams across UK, India, Romania, and US.
- Strong knowledge of UAT/SIT management, release readiness, and production support.
- CI/CD pipeline integration with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and automation reporting dashboards.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery and tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
