- Provide 3rd Line technical support across secure infrastructure environments.
- Support a high‑profile user community through an incident management system.
- Lead and mentor a team of 2nd Line Engineers.
- Manage technical escalations and provide guidance on complex support issues.
- Support VMware, Windows Server, and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, Active Directory, and networking issues.
- Perform system administration, user management, and operational support activities.
- Contribute to service improvements and technical documentation.
- Participate in shift work where required.
- 3rd Line Engineer Leader Skills and Experience
- Strong experience providing 3rd Line infrastructure support.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching technical support teams.
- Strong VMware experience including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), v Center, ESXi, and virtual infrastructure technologies.
- Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022, Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), SCOM, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DFS, and User Account Management.
- Experience analysing Windows Server log files and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Juniper networking technologies and infrastructure monitoring tools would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting legacy Microsoft technologies including Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows Server 2008/2012 is desirable. Legacy infrastructure training will be provided.
- Excellent analytical, communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take a minimum 18 weeks.
