Job Description
SFCC Technical Lead
6 Month contract initially
Based: Leeds/Remote (Max 3 days per week onsite in Leeds)
Rate: £Market rates p/d (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions with a strong focus on Progressive Web Applications (PWA) technology.
* Overseeing a team of developers while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performant E-commerce experiences on the platform; requiring extensive expertise in SFCC architecture, PWA development practices, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Performing design, debug, and performance analysis on solutions. Documenting and sharing best practice knowledge for new solutions.
* Share knowledge with the team and help mentor newer developers.
* Impact assessment of high priority/critical enhancement request and track solution delivery end to end.
* Learn new technology PWA/MRT and Salesforce B2C via self-learning
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience with 1-2 e2e Transformation E-commerce program in retail industry.
* Realtime enterprise grade websites within a large delivery project/team using React.js (Next.js), Node.js (Express.js), Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFRA, SCAPI, SLAS), Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS 3, Media Query
* Working experience of state management frameworks (Redux, etc.)
* Experience of building & deploying with serverless frameworks
* Strong understanding of code quality, security and performance considerations
* Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Awareness of Progressive Web Application (PWA/Composable) website development
* Working experience of integrating 3rd part applications using RESTful services
* Strong knowledge of payment gateway integrations
Good to have: (As applicable)
* Good knowledge of Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Commerce Cloud(B2C).
* Experience in using design tools like Figma
* Experience in using collaboration tools like Storybook
* Familiar with Microsoft Azure Cloud
* Familiar with DevSecOps practices
* Working experience in highly transactional eCommerce websites development
* Awareness of Progressive Web Application (PWA/Composable) website development
* Awareness of search, CMS, SEO, analytics integrations
