Overview
We are looking for a Microsoft Specialist to provide technical support across all security domains. We are looking for dependable and experienced L3/L4 staff that are not afraid to own problems/incidents and deliver solutions to issues.
Responsibilities
- Implementation and deployment, including Installing, configuring, and deploying Microsoft Servers, clients, and related infrastructure, within on-premises environments.
- Troubleshooting and incident resolution, including Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex technical issues across various Microsoft products such as Skype, Exchange and SharePoint.
- Security and compliance, including support the deployment of security measures to protect the Microsoft product environment and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Documentation and knowledge transfer, including creating and maintaining documentation for the Microsoft environment and providing knowledge transfer to other support staff; and
- Collaboration and communication, including working with other members of the support team, resolver groups, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support to all Microsoft products including Skype services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Expertise in Microsoft Products: Deep understanding of Skype for Business, Exchange and SharePoint architecture, features, and functionality across multiple versions.
- Microsoft Technologies: Experience with related technologies like Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to Microsoft products such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- PowerShell Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation and system management.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams; and
- Security and Compliance: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
