Our client is looking for a Business Architect to join their team on a six month initial contract, working 2 days a week onsite in Reading. This role is Inside IR35. The Business Architect is responsible for bridging business strategy and technology execution across the clients transformation programmes. The role ensures alignment of customer, billing, and operational processes with digital initiatives such as CRM, CIS modernisation, and integration programmes. The Business Architect works closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and delivery teams to define business processes and ensure successful solution adoption in a regulated utilities environment.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience in business requirement gathering, workshops, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to define end-to-end business processes (As-Is / To-Be) and customer journeys
- Proven capability in business architecture, process modelling, and requirement traceability
- Experience working with CRM platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with business and IT teams
- Experience in large transformation programmes and enterprise environments
- Ability to align business requirements with solution design and participate in design validation
- Exposure to testing (SIT/UAT) and business validation processes
- Understanding of data requirements, integration, and migration validation
- Knowledge of governance processes, change management, and impact assessment
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models
