DV Network Architect Location Basingstoke – 5 days week – Office based Target Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months initially Recruitment Type: Contractor Rate: £600-650 per day (negotiable subject to experience) Clearance Required: DV Working Pattern: Mon-Fri Skills: *Experience with either Juniper or Cisco network equipment. *Experience of independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching following design specifications and resolving issues, including experience in site LAN Design, and implementation in accordance with JSP 604. *Experience with ECR process, creation of as-fitted packs and sign-off, working with Customer. *Previous experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environment. *The provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible. *Meets project deadlines and costs within own scope of responsibility. *Errors with workarounds or fixes provided in a timely manner. *Changes to service, process, organization, operating model and other aspects may be required in addition to technology components, and solutions must demonstrate how agreed requirements (such as automation of business processes) are met, any requirements which are not fully met or, and any options or considerations which require a business decision.
