This role offers the opportunity to act as the service subject matter expert across major project deliveries, ensuring service stability, supportability, and operational excellence.
Service Architect Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end service designs for low, medium, and high-complexity deliveries.
- Assess customer operational environments and support model requirements.
- Define service operating models, governance structures, and support arrangements.
- Develop service acceptance criteria, support requirements, and transition plans.
- Contribute to SLA, KPI, and underpinning contract development.
- Identify and manage service-related RAID items, constraints, exclusions, and SPOFs.
- Define early life support requirements and service readiness activities.
- Design and integrate service processes and tooling requirements.
- Produce service documentation, operational procedures, and supporting artefacts.
- Support the successful transition of services into live operation.
- Influence solution design decisions to ensure service stability and operational efficiency.
Service Architect Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in Service Architecture or Service Management.
- Strong understanding of service management principles.
