Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to align all technology workstreams (Cloud, Networks, Infrastructure, Support, Workplace, etc.) under a single, consistent delivery methodology (eg SAFe, Agile, Scrum) that is suitable across all workstreams. The role must also ensure alignment with the ITIL framework so that, when the programme goes live, operations meet recognised industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Align multiple technology workstreams to a common delivery methodology
- Ensure delivery methods integrate with ITIL for BAU operations
- Support a complex transformation programme with multiple moving parts
- Adapt engineering and delivery approaches to remain aligned with the overall programme
- Enable and support complex, large-scale implementations
Required Hard Skills
- Strong experience with ITIL and SAFe, including implementation across diverse technology areas (platforms, cloud, infrastructure, etc.)
- Deep understanding of the ITIL framework and its practical application within a BAU environment
Required Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Open and adaptable mindset, with the ability to understand technical work and apply appropriate delivery methods
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-moving transformation environment
Security clearance and eligibility
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
