We have a requirement for a DevOps Architect/SME to work for a client of ours. Active DV clearance is essential.
Skills required:
- Proven experience designing, building, and supporting:
- GitLab (repositories, CI/CD pipelines, runners, security controls)
- Jira (workflow design, issue tracking, reporting)
- Confluence (structured documentation and knowledge management)
- Ansible (automation, configuration management, orchestration)
- Strong experience working within air-gapped environments, including:
- Secure installation and configuration of tooling platforms
- Dependency and repository management (eg, package mirroring, artifact control)
- Controlled update and patching processes
- Experience designing secure DevOps pipelines, including:
- Build and release management
- Access control and segregation of duties
- Audit and traceability of changes
- Demonstrable experience producing formal technical documentation
- Strong Scripting and automation skills (eg, Bash, Python, Ansible YAML)
- Strong understanding of configuration management, infrastructure as code, and automation principles
