- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom extensions for general journal processing, including data entities like LedgerJournalHeader and LedgerJournalLine.
- Implement business logic for transaction validation, reconciliation, and posting workflows within D365 Finance.
- Collaborate with integration teams.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance for high volume transaction processing.
- Document technical specifications and support deployment in cloud environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in D365 Finance & Operations development, with expertise in X programming, data entities, and extensions.
- Proven experience customizing general ledger modules, journals, and posting processes, including financial dimensions and intercompany transactions.
- Strong knowledge of D365 tools like Visual Studio, LCS, and Azure DevOps for CI/CD, along with unit testing frameworks (eg, SysTest) and debugging.
- Familiarity with financial data handling, error management, batch processing, and integration patterns (eg, DMF, OData).
- Experience with D365 workflows, security roles, and reporting tools (eg, SSRS).
- Experience in working with PowerBI reports and creation of dashboards.
- Background in performance tuning, data migration projects, and handling large datasets in ERP environments.
- Experience in cross functional team collaboration, including code reviews and version control.
