National Account Manager – Key Accounts

Location: Reading (Hybrid, 2 days a week on site)

Salary: up to £55k + bonus, healthcare, pension

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with your key account, acting as the daily face of the business.
  • Forecasting & Analysis: Take ownership of financial and supply forecasting to ensure seamless operations and growth.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, supply, and brand teams to deliver an omni-channel plan aligned with the company’s brand strategy.
  • P&L Accountability: Manage your account’s P&L, set targets, and implement strategies to improve profitability and ROI.
  • Driving Growth: Develop and execute plans to achieve year-on-year growth, adapting strategies based on market insights.
  • Reporting: Provide monthly updates on sales drivers and account performance to the wider team.

Skills & Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is ideal.
  • Proven experience in key account management, ideally within a blue-chip FMCG organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial acumen and an understanding of category and revenue growth management.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
