Lead Data Scientist Milton Keynes (in office 3 x a week) £70,000 – £80,000 per annum La Fosse is delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the retail sector to hire a Lead Data Scientist . The company is looking to drive business growth through advanced data analytics and model-based solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, create data-driven solutions, and work with engineering teams to leverage the company’s data platform for impactful results. Key Responsibilities: Develop and test hypotheses to drive business performance. Analyse complex datasets to extract actionable insights. Build statistical and machine learning models. Design and develop real-time dashboards and machine learning pipelines. Develop forecasting and dynamic pricing models to optimise revenue. Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Technical Skills Required: Proficiency in data visualisation (e.g., Power BI). Expertise in statistical modelling and machine learning. Strong programming skills in Python; Java and C are a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based tools (Azure, MS Fabric Stack preferred). Qualifications & Experience: 3-4 years in Data Science / Advanced Analytics.
