Your role as IT Support Engineer will be to provide a mixture of desktop support and system administration to the users of the London office and smaller regional offices across Europe. You’ll be joining a top global investment firm and will need passion in delivering best-in-class service!

Location: Mayfair, London (5 days a week onsite)

Salary: £50-70k + daily lunch allowance

There is an out of hours requirement for the role, but this will be minimal and on a rota. Part of the role will be to get involved in projects across the tech landscape, and also identify areas where technology can improve current processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users in person, over the phone, or via remote access tools.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals for end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Ensure that all hardware and software is properly maintained and updated with the latest patches and security updates.
  • Document all support activities in a helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to use hardware and software applications.
  • Assist with the rollout of new hardware and software applications to end-users.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or other IT teams as necessary.
Ideally, you’ll have:
  • At least 5 years of experience in providing IT end-user support.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform including Intune and Autopilot.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and skills as required.
  • Ideally experience working in a professional services business i.e. banking, finance, etc.
