Job Title: Change and Adoption Lead
Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office going up to 3 if a project requires this (Midlands-based)

A renowned Housing Association are looking for a passionate and experienced Change and Adoption Lead to help shape and embed lasting transformation across the organisation. As part of a collaborative Business Change team, you\’ll play a critical role in guiding how change is adopted – working across people, processes, and technology to drive engagement, build stakeholder relationships, and support a growing transformation agenda.
This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity to influence how the company defines and delivers change. You\’ll work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Senior Leaders, acting as a key advisor on best practices for adoption and stakeholder engagement.
THE ROLE
The Change & Adoption Lead will be responsible for:

Lead change and adoption activities across a portfolio of transformation projects.

Develop and implement tailored engagement and communication strategies.

Support project teams in identifying and overcoming barriers to change.

Embed consistent change and adoption approaches into delivery frameworks.

Deliver workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Provide coaching and support to colleagues across the Business Change function.

Measure success and gather feedback to continuously improve change outcomes.

Support governance processes through clear reporting and planning.

Champion innovation, collaboration, and a people-first approach to change.
YOU
The Change & Adoption Lead will have experience of:

A recognised change management qualification (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP, APMG).

At least 3 years\’ experience in a dedicated change management role.

Demonstrable success delivering change and adoption within complex projects.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

A strategic mindset with the ability to work both at a high level and on the detail.

Experience in engaging cross-functional teams in people, process and technology change.

An understanding of agile delivery methods and their impact on change and adoption.

The confidence to act as a trusted advisor to colleagues across the business.
Experience in housing, public services, or similarly complex sectors is welcomed – but not essential. More important is your ability to bring best practice thinking and a practical, people-centred approach.
