Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Network Operations Engineer with experience in Low Latency Networking such as Arista 7130, MetaMux, MetaWatch, and MultiAccess to join their team.

Experience with Corvil is also required to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Support & Engineering within low latency networking environment using Arista 7130, MetaMux, MetaWatch, and MultiAccess
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
  • Act as the 2nd – 3rd/4th line escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for network-related incidents
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve complex network problems
  • Maintain and monitor Corvil Appliances and Cisco 3548 Platform

Requirements:

  • Cisco CCNP or CCIE certification
  • Corvil CCA or Corvil CCE Certified
  • BSc in Computing with a focus on networking or MSc in Networking
  • Experience with PTP/PPS platforms (Meinberg, FSMLabs, ADVA/Oscilloscope)
  • Proficiency in using commercial NMS tools (e.g. Zabbix, Solarwinds, Nagios) and open-source tools (e.g. Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana)
  • Basic programming skills in Python or GoLang
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Familiarity with network analysis tools such as Wireshark, Splunk, and PromQL
  • High level of troubleshooting experience
