Are you an experienced Governance Leader looking to play a pivotal role in a large-scale digital transformation? My client who is a renowned Manufacturing Firm are looking for aGovernance Manager to join a global programme rolling out a new ERP for the firm. You’ll lead the governance of strategic delivery partners and ensure operational compliance across vendor engagement, data security, and financial control.
Please note this is an 18 month FTC paying up to £70,000 per annum and requires 3 days onsite in the Bath office.
ROLE
As the Governance Manager, you will oversee the governance framework within a global ERP transformation programme. You’ll be responsible for ensuring third-party delivery—spanning Systems Integrators (SIs), Business Integrators (BIs), and other vendors—meets compliance, performance, and commercial expectations.
You will lead a small governance team with two direct reports: one focused on vendor management and another on service transition and hypercare. The role will also interface across programme, infrastructure, and finance teams, driving best practices across licensing, access controls, financial governance, and change management. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Own and evolve the governance framework across all third-party partnerships.
Line manage and support two direct reports across vendor and service transition functions.
Ensure alignment of partner access, role management, and licensing with compliance and policy.
Drive GDPR compliance across the partner ecosystem.
Lead financial oversight activities, including budgeting, Azure cost reporting, and invoice validation.
Act as a governance lead for all change requests between the programme and Systems Integrators.
Coordinate responses to partner-related queries, risks, and escalations.
Support seamless handovers from programme delivery into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Contribute to executive reporting and governance boards with partner insights and risk updates.YOU

Familiarity with ERP Platforms

Financial governance experience including Azure cost optimisation and reporting.
Solid knowledge of GDPR and global data protection standards.
Experience working in structured programme environments or PMO functions.
Proven leadership ability managing teams and cross-functional engagement.
Previous experience in an ERP rollout.
Knowledge of Azure licensing and Microsoft enterprise agreements.
Understanding of ITIL frameworks and service transition.
Experience working across global or multi-region governance structures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
