I am looking for Build/Assembly Test Technicians for a 5-month contract to work in the lab for a large Electronics Manufacturer based south of Cambridge.
They have designed a series of instruments for a client and, due to timelines, have been asked to do the manufacturing in-house and will require support with this (on the mechanical side rather than electrical).
Candidates will need to be familiar with the following:
- Hand power tools
- Working to drawings & instructions (though not detailed instructions at this point, so they will need to be able to problem-solve & use their own initiative to assemble the product)
- Electromechanical assembly
- Prototype assembly
- Assembly & Testing of machinery
