Store Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations within our bakery in Poynton. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in retail management. This role involves supervising staff, placing orders, scheduling the rota and ensuring a high standard of customer service. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving store performance & maintaining organisational efficiency.

Duties

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service
• Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Cashing up
• Manage staff rota, ordering ingredients and supplies.
• Handle customer enquiries courteously via phone or in person.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within the retail sector, including supervising teams and managing sales performance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and train new staff members.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Previous experience in retail management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
