L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking Inventory Management Support in its Norfolk VA location. This individual will be responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, supplies and equipment to support production line and custom assembly manufacturing activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving incoming materials, determining routing and arrangements using pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
  • Working under supervision; fully proficient to perform inventory management tasks of moderate difficulty requiring efficiency and sound judgment.
  • Coordinating inventory management concerns within and outside the department on matters involving information sharing, explanation, or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
  • Using saws to cut metal in support of the machine shop.

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft and computer knowledge.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other Powered Industrial Vehicles.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
  • Ability to use pallet jacks, forklifts or other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift to 30 pounds.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Costpoint or relevant ERP knowledge.
