Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring the financial performance of your program.
Essential Functions:
- Deploy working methods to predict future costs and revenues of a complex program;
- Analyze monthly financial performance of a complex program and present results to high management and corporate entities;
- Provide monthly and annual reporting to management;
- Work in collaboration with program management with the objective to improve programme performance;
- Communicate with function leaders to influence their decisions;
- Play an important role in the invoicing process to customers;
- Bring important improvements to processes and working tools;
- Train and coach junior employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration - Accounting profile, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered;
- Accounting Title (CPA);
- 8 to 12 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience with SAP (an asset);
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential (pivot tables, advanced formulas);
- Attention to detail, teamwork, analytical skills, and business acumen are sought-after competencies;
- Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment requiring accountability and autonomy;
- Bilingual French and English (written and spoken).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
