Essential Functions
- Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for your work.
- The employee shall be the holder of a Transport Canada AME license appropriately rated.
- The AME shall have demonstrated acceptable levels of knowledge of an Approved Maintenance Organization and its Quality Program and have been issued an Aircraft Authorization Authority to sign a maintenance release in respect to work performed on aeronautical products.
- Their duties include but are not limited to:
- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including challenging working conditions).
- Utilizing certified / calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
- Marshalling fueling and towing of aircraft.
- Maintaining a clean work area.
- Assuming responsibility for your work as indicated by your signature / stamp.
- Performing duties such as repair modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
- Familiarisation of the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and related processes.
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times.
- Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world.
- Complete all assigned training and tasks on time.
- Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft if requested.
- Comply with the approved processes.
- Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.
Qualifications
- You must hold an AME M license (mandatory).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
