Job Location: Mirabel QC

Essential Functions

  • Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for your work.
  • The employee shall be the holder of a Transport Canada AME license appropriately rated.
  • The AME shall have demonstrated acceptable levels of knowledge of an Approved Maintenance Organization and its Quality Program and have been issued an Aircraft Authorization Authority to sign a maintenance release in respect to work performed on aeronautical products.
  • Their duties include but are not limited to:
    • Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including challenging working conditions).
    • Utilizing certified / calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
    • Marshalling fueling and towing of aircraft.
    • Maintaining a clean work area.
    • Assuming responsibility for your work as indicated by your signature / stamp.
    • Performing duties such as repair modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
    • Familiarisation of the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and related processes.
    • Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times.
    • Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world.
    • Complete all assigned training and tasks on time.
    • Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft if requested.
    • Comply with the approved processes.
    • Familiarization with L3 MAS Policies and Processes.

Qualifications

  • You must hold an AME M license (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
