Ensuring the business adheres to governance, standards, regulations and customer requirementsDevelop and set Quality goals, proactively seeking opportunities to provide QA inputs to company and operational strategy. Responsible for leading, providing guidance, coaching and training to the Quality team and other staff members. Actively engage in reducing operating costs and increasing efficiency, seeking ways to improve performance of KPIs. Lead the Quality team ensuring collaboration with the Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Engineering Function to assure the quality of goods and services. Benchmarking and adapting industry best practices to drive continual improvement in quality management processes. Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing, engineering development & project management. The incumbent must have experience of managing Supplier Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering and Quality Control personnel. Substantial experience in a high complexity design and manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace / defence industry. Previous experience in leading the solution for product realisation would be beneficial, including APQP / PPAP, customer interaction, supplier interaction, Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) support, supplier component development & approval and supplier cost improvements.
