Our Brighton business is moving to a new location in 2027. The new site is expected to be located in either Shoreham, Burgess Hill or Horsham and will be within a 15-minute drive of our current site.

Responsibilities

  • The Test Technician is responsible for conducting a range of tests in accordance with approved test specifications and procedures.
  • Read, understand, and accurately follow technical documentation while maintaining strict adherence to health and safety requirements.
  • Support the test department in the planning and completion of test campaigns to aid on-time delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare, complete, and maintain test records and documentation.
  • Prepare and assemble test rigs and fixtures; fitment and verification of test measurement instrumentation.
  • Operate dedicated test facilities to conduct product development and production acceptance tests to defined test procedures including: Weapon Release, Climatic, Pressure, Structural, and Vibration testing.
  • Liaise with test engineering, design, and manufacturing departments; record test results using the logbook system.
  • Maintain awareness of safety in the workplace at all times.
  • Predominantly onsite at Brighton, with a flexible approach to meet project demands.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement to improve the efficiency of the testing service
