The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Responsible for field and factory based technical support of L3Harris CS tactical and networking radio equipment, in the HF, VHF and UHF (RF) spectrum including Type 1 products. Based at Farnborough, Hampshire, with extensive international travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver formal technical training courses on company products.
  • Execute product demonstrations.
  • Support field trials and perform installation services as applicable to customers within the EMEA region.
  • Provide pre-sales and/or post-sale technical support of company products/systems.
  • Present and interpret design, application and service information to sales staff and customers.
  • Assess and analyse technical application of company products and competing equipment to meet customer needs.
  • Design systems to satisfy customer needs.
  • Prepare detailed product specifications for sales staff.
  • Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with military and tactical radio communications systems, including all aspects of technical support, training and installation.
  • Strong field engineering experience of tactical radio equipment (RF) including the construction, operation and repair of static and mobile installations.
  • Good understanding of common technologies and waveforms utilised across tactical radio systems for voice and data transmission.
