L&M Healthcare is offering an exciting opportunity based in Stockport for an Assistant Psychologist to join our welcoming and supportive team. You will offer support to our core mental health services. You will work as part of a comprehensive and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team providing direct clinical input and assessment for older people living with dementia, mental health disorder and acquired brain injury.
You will undertake collaborative risk assessment for individual residents and provide general advice to the staff team who support them. You will hold a caseload of clinical work including carrying out person-centred positive behaviour support plans. The company will cover clinical supervision expenses.
We are looking for:
- Experience of working with older adults living with dementia, PBS planning and supporting people with an acquired brain injury (Preferred)
- 2:1 Psychology degree
- To meet professional practice expectations and the BPS code of ethics
- A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR)
