The Marketing Content & Bid Writing Lead plays a critical role in positioning Lynch as a trusted, expert, full service delivery partner across major infrastructure projects in England and Scotland. This role owns Lynch's customer facing long form content and the end to end bid and tender writing process. From high value tenders and framework submissions to case studies, thought leadership and customer communications, you will ensure all written content is compelling, compliant, consistent and fully aligned with the Lynch brand.
Working collaboratively across marketing, sales, operations, HSEQ and senior leadership, you will translate technical expertise and on site delivery into clear, persuasive content that supports business growth, improves bid performance and strengthens customer relationships. A key part of the role is building and maintaining a structured, reusable bid and content library to improve efficiency, consistency and win rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Content & Campaigns
- Develop and manage impactful, customer focused marketing campaigns that position Lynch as the full service partner of choice on major projects.
- Lead the creation of long form content including case studies, reports, customer newsletters, thought leadership and capability materials.
- Lead and manage content calendars for Lynch's main social media channels and Director profiles, ensuring alignment with the wider marketing strategy and business priorities.
- Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure written content aligns with visual, video and campaign activity across all channels.
- Write clear, engaging copy for the website, brochures, presentations and sales material, ensuring consistency of tone and messaging.
- Lead the research, planning, writing and editing of high quality, persuasive bids, tenders and proposals (PQQs, ITTs, RFQs, frameworks).
- Analyse customer requirements, evaluation criteria and scoring models to produce compliant, high scoring submissions.
- Develop clear, customer focused method statements covering service delivery, mobilisation, logistics, maintenance, health & safety and operational approach.
- Coordinate bid inputs from sales, operations, depot teams, HSEQ, key accounts and senior leadership.
- Manage bid timelines and ensure all submissions are completed accurately, professionally and on time.
- Support the sales team with presentation content, responses to bid questions and the coordination, collation and presentation of information required to support the bid and tender process.
- Own and continuously develop a centralised bid and content library including responses, method statements, case studies, CVs, policies and evidence.
- Maintain version control and ensure content remains accurate, compliant and aligned with current fleet, services and accreditations.
- Identify reusable content and best practice responses to improve bid efficiency, consistency and quality.
- Capture feedback from successful and unsuccessful bids to refine content, messaging and approach.
- Develop templates and standard responses to support faster, higher quality submissions.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather accurate technical, operational and commercial information.
- Facilitate collaborative input sessions and reviews to capture subject-matter expertise and project experience.
- Act as a central point of coordination for written content, ensuring multi-stakeholder input is aligned and client-focused.
- Proofread and quality-check all bid and marketing content for clarity, accuracy and consistency.
- Lead post-bid reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
