This is a full-time, on-site role for a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Fitter based in Bradford. The PDI Fitter will be responsible for preparing plant machinery for delivery to customers, ensuring machines are in optimal working condition, and conducting inspections, fine-tuning, and pre-delivery testing. Regular tasks include assembling, maintaining, and servicing plant equipment, as well as diagnosing any faults and implementing necessary repairs. Collaborating with team members to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety and operational standards is a key aspect of the role.
Qualifications
- Mechanical skills, including the ability to inspect, assemble, and maintain plant machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities to ensure proper functionality of equipment
- Experience and knowledge in conducting pre-delivery inspections and routine servicing
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and best practices in equipment handling and maintenance
