The Role:

As a Trainee Resourcer, you'll play a vital role in supporting the recruitment team to find, attract, and build relationships with skilled plant operators to support our national contracts. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career in recruitment within the construction or plant hire industry, with full training and mentoring provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source candidates for roles including 360 Operators, ADT Drivers, Dumper Drivers, and more
  • Post engaging job adverts across job boards, social platforms, and internal systems
  • Screen and qualify applicants via phone and in-person
  • Manage the candidate database and keep records up to date
  • Arrange interviews, coordinate start dates, and support compliance checks (e.g. Right to Work, PTS, CPCS)
  • Book inductions
  • Work closely with depots and operations teams to understand demand and plan ahead
  • Deliver excellent candidate experience and maintain strong relationships with operatives
  • Help build a pipeline of reliable, qualified operators ready for upcoming work
