Overview Purpose: To supply an all-inclusive delivery product to our internal and external customer base in a timely manner to meet customer expectations. Whilst delivering a first-class service you will manage the day-to-day operational movements of our Transport Fleet at depot level, keeping our customer focus and values, but working within the legal and compliance framework laid down by regulatory bodies and within company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and distribute work, compiling reports for allocation to drivers, scheduling work for the following day to plan all logistical movements from the Northampton depot to meet customer demands. This includes our Low loader's, Hiab's, and Beavertail fleet.
- Effectively manage all movements of Plant machinery, ensuring movement orders are in place prior to delivery of the products that fall within STGO.
- Manage the day to day compliance of the department.
- Ensure the department meets all administration requirements in order to achieve company policies.
