We're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and play a key role in identifying, attracting, and engaging skilled plant operators across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and has a proactive approach to recruitment and communication.
What you'll do
- Generate potential plant operator leads through social media and recruitment campaigns
- Act as the first point of contact for operators, delivering excellent support and guidance
- Work closely with the training team to support operator development and onboarding
- Source new operators through databases, referrals, social media, and other recruitment channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators to improve communication and retention
- Understand operator and customer requirements to help deliver the best service possible
- Maintain accurate operator records and manage data within company systems and apps
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls across multiple communication platforms
- Screen applications and make initial contact with candidates to assess suitability
- Request and compile statements relating to incidents or damages where required
- Support social media activity by posting and managing job adverts and recruitment content alongside the Marketing team
- Ensure a consistent flow of operator inductions for major projects and operational requirements
- Work closely with the training department to ensure internal processes are followed correctly
What we’re looking for
- Someone who is confident, organised, and passionate about delivering a great recruitment experience
- Personable, approachable, and confident with excellent people skills
- Strong telephone manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective administration, planning, and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Previous experience within the hire or construction industry is preferred but not essential
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with commercial awareness
- Good IT and computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Positive 'Can Do' attitude with a proactive mindset
