We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team and play a key role in leading, developing, and driving the performance of our sales function. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about customer success, team development, and delivering profitable business growth.

As an essential part of the Sales team, you'll:

  • Lead, coach, motivate, and support the Sales Team to achieve individual and team objectives
  • Develop and deliver a regional sales strategy aligned with business goals
  • Drive profitable growth through existing and new client relationships
  • Support the team on priority customer visits, meetings, and industry events
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all areas of the business
  • Ensure team portfolio growth in line with budgets and targets
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial team to deliver high-quality tenders, proposals, and agreements on time
  • Drive a ONE TEAM culture across the UK sales function, encouraging collaboration and shared success
  • Monitor and support debt management processes
  • Build trust with customers through transparency, reliability, and excellent service delivery
  • Drive improvements in team engagement, participation, productivity, and retention

What we're looking for:

  • Managing and growing relationships with Tier 1 contractors, Tier 2 contractors, major projects, and regional customers
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across infrastructure, civil engineering, rail, utilities, highways, and construction sectors
  • Maintaining regular customer engagement through meetings, site visits, project reviews, and networking events
  • Support and deliver the regional sales strategy aligned to company growth targets and profitability objectives
  • Lead strategic account management activities to increase customer spend, retention, and long-term partnerships in the midlands region
  • Collaborating with operations, transport, and recruitment/workforce teams to ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations
  • Monitoring regional market activity, framework opportunities, and upcoming infrastructure projects
  • Driving cross-selling opportunities across plant hire, labour supply, transport, and added-value services
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards, health & safety expectations, and contractual obligations
  • Representing the business at industry events, client presentations, and stakeholder meetings
