We're looking for a Hire Controller to join our Hire Desk team and play a key role in supporting the hiring and off-hiring of plant and equipment to our customers. This role is ideal for a proactive, organised individual with a strong eye for detail and a customer-focused mindset.
What you'll do
- Manage the hiring and off-hiring of plant and equipment to customers
- Support and advise Hire Negotiators with pricing, specifications and availability
- Ensure quotes are raised for every customer enquiry
- Maintain accurate Live Hire and Closed Hire files
- Manage and process re-charges accurately
- Produce Hire Desk revenue reports
- Prepare detailed customer reports as required
- Ensure all hire information is accurate and provided correctly every time
- Respond to and resolve hire-related customer queries
- Liaise daily with the Service and Transport teams to ensure smooth operations
