We are looking for a reliable, proactive cleaner to join a friendly cleaning team at a school in the Rushbottom Lane area in Benfleet, Essex.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6.00pm (term time only) - 39 weeks per year.
Salary: £12.71 per hour, totaling £590.49 monthly pay.
Responsibilities:
- Clean office and admin areas, classrooms, toilets, and communal areas.
- Empty bins, polish, mop floors, hoover, clean tables and chairs, toilet cleaning and any other associated duties as required.
- Carry out cleaning duties thoroughly and with care, meeting hygiene and sanitation requirements for specific areas.
- Maintain general WCs, offices, bins and general cleaning tasks to the required standards.
- Good communication skills essential for health and safety reasons.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience as a cleaner is an advantage, but not necessary.
- Reliable, has a good attitude, enjoys doing work, and willing to learn.
- Good attention to detail and pride in work.
- Capable of taking direction well and implementing cleaning policies with minimal supervision.
- Undergoes an enhanced DBS check (expense part shared by the employer).
- Attends full training; uniform provided.
