We are looking to employ a reliable and responsible cleaner for a position in a local school in the Rushbottom Lane area in Benfleet, Essex.
Hours: 3.15pm to 5.45pm or 6.00am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday during term time + 4 weeks closure cleans
Salary: £12.21 p/h = £613.04 monthly pay
Responsibilities:
- Clean offices and admin areas within the school, classrooms, toilets, and communal areas.
- Empty bins, polish, mop floors, hoover, clean tables and chairs, toilet cleaning and other associated duties as required.
- Lock up the site at the end of the shift.
- Understand basic hygiene and sanitation requirements for cleaning specific areas.
- Carry out cleaning duties thoroughly and with care.
- General cleaning tasks in WCs, kitchens, offices, bins, to required standards.
Qualifications and attributes:
- Prior experience as a cleaner is an advantage, but not necessary; reliable with a good attitude, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills are essential for health and safety reasons.
- Full training in all aspects of cleaning will be given, and uniform provided.
- Enhanced DBS check required; expense to be partially shared by the employer.
