Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Leeds. Oversee electrical engineering activities from design review through to installation, testing and commissioning. Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals. Coordinate with design teams, project managers, subcontractors and suppliers. Provide technical support to site teams and resolve engineering issues. Ensure electrical installations comply with project specifications, regulations and industry standards. Monitor installation quality and ensure inspections are completed in line with project requirements. Support testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems. Assist with technical queries, design changes and value engineering proposals. Attend technical meetings and provide progress updates to the project team. Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer on large-scale construction projects. Strong background in data centres or complex commercial/industrial developments. Excellent knowledge of electrical building services, power distribution and associated systems. Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation. Experience supporting installation, testing and commissioning activities. Strong technical, communication and problem-solving skills.
